Where the 505 Comes From
Sargodha Board scores 9th class out of 505 marks. Rather than eight separate figures, it is easier to remember as three groups of papers.
The science papers stop at 60 rather than 75 because 9th class carries no practical examination of its own. One combined 30-mark practical, covering experiments from both years, is taken at the end of 10th class — when science practicals are actually held explains where those marks go.
The line every paper has to cross
From the 2026 examinations, the minimum passing mark rose from 33% to 40%, applied to each paper individually. That is 30 out of 75, 24 out of 60, and 20 out of 50. No aggregate, however strong, lifts a subject that lands below its own threshold.
These ten letters replaced the old A-1 to F system for SSC Part-I this year. Grade Point Average was left out of the rollout, so no GPA prints on your 2026 card — the ten-point scale in full covers the change and what was deferred.

How Sargodha Board Came About
BISE Sargodha was created in 1968, established together with Multan under the ordinance that first broke Lahore’s province-wide monopoly on matriculation examinations. At the time it administered the whole of northern and western Punjab.
Two boards were later carved out of that territory. Rawalpindi Board separated in October 1977, taking the Pothohar districts, and Faisalabad Board followed in 1988 with the central industrial belt. What remained is the four-district jurisdiction Sargodha holds today.

My school is in Sahiwal — do I check Sargodha Board or Sahiwal Board?
It depends which Sahiwal. Sahiwal is both a tehsil of Sargodha district and a separate district in central Punjab. If your school is in the Sargodha tehsil, your board is Sargodha. If it is in Sahiwal district alongside Okara and Pakpattan, your board is Sahiwal. Your roll number slip names the correct one.
Is there internet-free way to get my result?

Because in 9th class a science subject is 60 marks of written theory and nothing else. The 30-mark practical for that subject, covering both 9th and 10th class experiments, is examined once at the end of 10th class. Your marksheet is complete as it stands.
