9th Class 2nd Annual Exam Form & Fee Details 2026

Punjab boards priced the SSC Second Annual Examination 2026 by category and group — not per subject. A 9th class compartment candidate in the Science group pays Rs. 1,850 at single fee. Arts pays Rs. 1,800. Exams start 6 October 2026.

The date trap most students will fall into

Read this before anything else.

The admission window announced in August runs 7–29 August 2026. The 9th class annual result is declared 2 September 2026.

The window closes before your result exists.

So the August dates belong to candidates who already hold a compartment from an earlier sitting, or who are applying under the composite 9th+10th category. If you sat SSC Part-I in 2026 and fear a failed paper, you cannot submit against these dates — there is nothing yet to submit against.

What you do instead: watch your board’s notifications page from 2 September onward. Boards issue a separate schedule for freshly declared compartment candidates. Do not pay a challan on the assumption the August window covers you.

Figures below are from the BISE Faisalabad notification. Boards share the calendar but not every rupee — confirm your own board’s amount before depositing.

Missing the first deadline by one day costs a Science candidate Rs. 700. Missing both costs Rs. 1,400.

The concession nobody mentions

Regular candidates of affiliated institutions covered by the Punjab government’s fee concession pay less. Composite candidates in this bracket pay Rs. 3,000 (Science) or Rs. 2,950 (Arts) at single fee.

Ask your school office whether your institution qualifies. Most students never ask, and schools rarely volunteer it.

Registration and admission form are two different things

Boards issue these as separate notifications, and confusing them costs a year.

• Registration establishes you as a candidate of that board. Private candidates who were never enrolled through a school need it first.
• Admission form enters you into one specific examination. Regular students already registered through their school need only this.

If you were a regular 9th class student in 2026, you are registered. You submit the admission form alone.

Submitting the form

Forms go through the board’s online portal. Manual forms and manually deposited challans are rejected — boards stopped accepting both.

1. Open your board’s admission portal and select SSC (Second Annual) Examination 2026.
2. Enter roll number and registration number exactly as printed on your slip.
3. Select only the subjects you must clear. Adding a passed subject means paying to re-sit it.
4. Generate the challan and print all copies.
5. Deposit at a designated branch, usually HBL.
6. Upload or submit the paid challan through the portal before the window shuts.
7. Save the confirmation slip. Without it you have no proof if your record goes missing.

Before you pay: recheck or re-sit?

If you missed a pass mark by two or three marks, rechecking may be the cheaper route. It carries a different fee and a different deadline, and the two processes do not wait for each other. Read how rechecking and recounting actually work before choosing.

Apply for rechecking and the supplementary form in parallel if the deadlines overlap. A refund is easier to chase than a lost academic year.
